Exterior Design
Based on the three-row Atlas SUV, the Atlas Cross Sport offers a more compact design with a true crossover feel. Adaptive LED headlights offer a stylish edge, while available add-ons like 20-inch wheels and a hands-free liftgate balance style and convenience. 20-inch black alloy wheels are included with the SEL R-Line Black trim, along with other blacked-out accents. Plus, a pair of stunning colors join the lineup, with head-turning Mountain Lake Blue and Avocado Green options.Top-level features include 21-inch wheels and power-folding side mirrors for the SEL Premium R-Line trim.
Interior Design
The new 2025 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport seats five passengers comfortably, offering up to 40.3 cubic feet of cargo space with all seats in place. The SUV's maximum cargo capacity is 77.6 cubic feet, giving you plenty of room to accommodate everything you need on the go. Standard cabin amenities include heated/ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, power-adjustable front seats, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
Performance
The new 2025 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, producing up to 269 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. An 8-speed automatic transmission and Front-Wheel Drive are standard, with All-Wheel Drive available for all trims (standard for the SEL and above).
Technology
New 2025 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport SUVs are equipped with a standard 12-inch touchscreen media display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone controls, a wireless smartphone charging pad, a digital instrument display, and a 6-speaker sound system. Optional features include a 115-volt household-style power outlet, remote engine start, built-in navigation, a head-up display, and a 12-speaker Harman Kardon premium sound system.
Safety
Standard driver-assist systems for the new 2025 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport include Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Intervention, Lane-Keeping Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
